Nintendo Switch FPS Gun Controller

Ergonomic controller attachment developed through two prototypes

This Nintendo Switch controller attachment explores a more physical way to hold a Joy-Con during first-person games. The design coordinates device retention, trigger access, grip angle, sight line, balance, and the clearances needed to insert and remove the controller without tools. Two prototype rounds were used to review comfort, handling, and the relationship between the grip and control positions. The final direction simplifies the geometry, improves usability, and presents a more coherent product form while keeping the original Joy-Con accessible and secure.
